We’re looking forward to showcasing the PiFM technique and the Vista-IR instrument at the upcoming TERS6 event. We’ll have many activities during the conference including:
Live Demos – Live demonstrations of the instrument and PiFM technique throughout the show, Wednesday (8/16), Thursday (8/17) and Friday (8/18)
Your Samples – Opportunities to run your own samples during that time (email Michael Gray – firstname.lastname@example.org, if you’re interested in running a sample. Samples prepped for AFM are adequately prepped for the PiFM technique.)
Technical Talk – Thursday (8/17) at 3:15 p.m, given by Derek Nowak on “Nanoscale Strain Mapping via Photo-induced Force Microscopy (PiFM)”
Dessert Talk – Introduction to PiFM, and ice cream sandwiches, Friday (8/18) afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
Please sign up below if you’ll attend the Friday afternoon, “Introduction to PiFM” (8/18) event, as there is a limited number of seats (and ice cream sandwiches). You can also sign up if you’d like to schedule to run a sample during this event.
